Development Manager, Interactive Marketing

an 8-year veteran of the Interactive Marketing Industry,
focusing on empowering leading brands with custom online
strategies and long-term integrated marketing solutions.
With the unprecedented growth in new marketing mediums
and technologies, prospects and clients are very interested
in taking advantage of the services offered by this
firm, whose new breed of business solutions are rapidly
changing both the online and offline marketing worlds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales and new business development
via cold calls, networking events, and referrals.
- Identifying, researching and
contacting target market opportunities
- Maximizing vertical market
strengths
- Cultivating strategic relationships
and partnerships with influential companies and individuals
- Representing the company at
regional and industry events
- Customizing, delivering and
following-up on capabilities presentations
- Customizing, refining and delivering
proposal presentations
Compensation will be commensurate
with experience and will consist of a base salary plus
incentives, and benefits.
Requirements:
As the company enters an expansion
phase (yes, even in a down economy, this field is strong!),
they are looking for an accomplished marketing and business
development professional to help raise the company to
yet another level. Specifically they seek a Business
Development Manager who can think strategically and
broadly and understand the current marketing environment,
as well as where it’s heading.
The right individual will have
a keen sales and marketing mind and will excel at developing
executive level relationships and networks for referrals.
They will be comfortable picking up the phone to do
a cold call to a potential client and knowing how to
qualify that prospect by phone.
Specific
Requirements:
- Three to five years of sales,
management and marketing experience in solution selling,
technology sales, recruiting, or similar experience,
with Marketing Agency/Interactive Marketing Agency
industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven record of account development
within larger, Fortune 1000 type clients via cold
calls, networking events and referrals.
- Proven ability to pre-qualify
prospects by phone.
- Have the ability to develop
a growing network of contacts and relationships
- BA/BS degree required, MBA
beneficial
- Reasonable commute time to Blue
Bell, PA (Under 30 to 40 minutes)
